No training dives are required to earn your certification, although you can choose to add one or two optional Nitrox dives at an additional cost to put your new skills into practice while exploring Mahahual's reefs.
There are no minimum student numbers, so whether you're travelling solo or with friends, you can complete the course when it suits your diving plans.

During Your Course
During your Nitrox course you'll learn how to analyse enriched air cylinders, calculate maximum operating depths, understand oxygen exposure limits, programme your dive computer correctly and plan dives using Nitrox safely.

The course is practical, relaxed and focused on developing confidence rather than simply completing a certification. By the end of the course you'll understand not only how to use Nitrox, but why experienced divers choose it for everything from local reef dives to multi-day dive trips.
